Comparison of AG's in Time Magazine

I was looking through Time Magazine, (the one with the new Pope on the cover) and on page 24 or somewhere around there, they compare AG's with Only Hearts Club dolls, Bratz, MyScene, and Barbie. It's a really short article, and they hardly mention AG dolls but I thought it was cool that they were actually in a magazine. [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img]

I saw that and looked for something about AG but you're right, there was hardly anything. Still it was nice to see "our girl" there.

I read it too---so fun to see an AG photo in Time. Anyway, I thought it was interesting that the Only Hearts creator is an alum from Mattel. It said he is taking a page from AG because he is not selling through mass-market but instead through "direct channels and upscale stores and making books an integral accessory." I have two Only Hearts (that I display on my GOML shelves along with others) and really like their detail, especially the glass eyes and fun clothes and pets.
